We are looking to fill the following positions:

  • Customer Service (computer experience required)

INTEGRATION TECHNICIAN – LEVEL 1

OPERATIONS| FULL TIME

Integrate computer components into sub-assemblies and systems using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read, interpret, and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Utilize hand held tools such as a hand-held screw and drill gun
  • Maintain inventory of product in work stations
  • Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Other duties may be assigned as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

  • One to two years of computer assembly experience
  • Basic reading skills
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Specific technical or vocational training or certification may be required; may be required to pass ruler test

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED

INTEGRATION TECHNICIAN – LEVEL 2

OPERATIONS| FULL TIME

Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications. Assembly and fabrication takes place in a specific area of a production line for a manufacturing organization. Follows and relies on instructions from pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Job functions may require some exercising independent judgment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read, interpret, and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Utilize hand held tools such as a hand-held screw and drill gun
  • Maintain inventory of product in work stations
  • Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow departmental ESD practices.
  • Meet the daily production schedule and maintain quality standards.
  • Must have a good understanding of the Integration Configuration Guidelines and have the ability to communicate that knowledge into orders.
  • Provide basic system troubleshooting when needed.
  • Daily review of all pending job project assignments on the bench for timely inspections.

Other duties may be assigned as necessary

  • Performance of Integration Test Technician Level 1 duties to keep abreast of assembly methods and maintain system integration skills.
  • Have an understanding of the daily inspection schedule.
  • Comply with company quality in the performance of in-process sub-assembly inspections on a variety of computer system components, hardware, and operating systems.
  • Provides and maintain departmental quality chart for feedback and improvement.
  • Communicate with departmental personnel to provide constructive feedback of inspections completed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • One to three years of mechanical assembly experience may be required
  • Basic reading skills
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Familiar with established motherboards, SBC (single board computer) processors, Input/Output cards, peripherals devices, configuring BIOS, jumpers, switches, cables and all related drivers.
  • Install Microsoft Operating System onto established hardware platforms.
  • Ability to use system utilities to perform various tasks for completing a job; as imaging hard drives, building RAIDS, and running test diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Some College and/or Trade school related courses in the area of computer technologies.
  • Specific technical or vocational training or certification may be required; may be required to pass ruler test.

INTEGRATION TECHNICIAN – LEVEL 3

OPERATIONS| FULL TIME

Skilled computer assembler, technician, system troubleshooter, system inspector, planning skills and Team Leader. Follows and relies on instructions from pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Interfaces with production control of job status. Knows the daily production schedule to meet shipment dates. Understands the manufacturing quality standards. Communicates with departmental personnel work schedule and activities. Works under some supervision. Primary job functions can typically require exercising independent judgment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read, interpret, and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Utilize hand held tools such as a hand-held screw and drill gun
  • Maintain inventory of product in work stations
  • Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes

  • Performs in-process sub-assembly Inspection to final inspection to company quality standards a variety of computers system components, hardware and installed operating systems

  • Communicates with departmental personnel to provide constructive feedback of inspections completed
  • CSV (Customer Service), skilled communicator verbally (via phone) and written (emails) production support for system troubleshooter for repairs
  • Attention to details on documenting service calls
  • Wiring Harness and cable connector assembly with an understanding of IPC/WHMA-A-620 requirements.

CUSTOMER SERVICE TECHNICIAN

OPERATIONS| FULL TIME

Resolve customer’s technical problems and issues via phone or email as requested by the Customer Service Administrator. Diagnose and repair returned products in a timely fashion in accordance with cost and quality guidelines


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Resolve customer’s technical problems and issue via phone or email and advise customers concerning equipment operation, maintenance and programming.
  • Converse with customers or read customer emails and/or RMA notes in order to determine details of equipment problems.
  • Operate returned computers in order to test functioning of parts and mechanisms and diagnose problems.
  • Disassemble computers and related equipment returned on RMAs to diagnose and repair technical issues keeping the system from operating properly.
  • Repair, adjust, or replace electrical and mechanical components as needed to repair returned systems.
  • Reinstall software programs, operating system and drivers or adjust settings on existing software in order to fix machine malfunctions.
  • Configure integrated chassis by installing correct BIOS and device drivers, jumpers, switches and cables as specified in the original build instructions.
  • Install and configure operating systems such as Windows XP and Windows NT as specified in the original build instructions.
  • Confer with Project Manager, Engineering Staff, Sales Staff and Vendors to resolve technical problems encountered during system repairs.
  • Uses system utilities to perform various configuration tasks such as imaging hard drives, building RAID configurations and running diagnostic tools as specified in the original build instructions.
  • Reassemble machines after making repairs or replacing parts.
  • Maintain records of work done on returned systems and equipment using MAS Customer Service Module.
  • Completes all necessary paperwork and forms to complete documentation for the RMA repairs as specified in the company policy and procedures.
  • Comply with all RoHS Restricted Substances Directives.
  • Comply with all Electrostatic Discharge Program (ESD) instructions and procedures.
  • Monitor work areas and examine tools and equipment in order to detect unsafe conditions or violations of procedures or safety rules.
  • Assist Production Manager in training new employees.
  • Comply with all company safety and quality regulations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the computer manufacturing field, relying on current literature pertaining to material use, technological advances, and statistical studies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four (4) years’ experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of computer assembly procedures, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of quality products.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED.
