Software Defined Radio (SDR) architecture enhances the system capabilities and reliability. The SDR design enables us to provide our customers with state of the art  technology which can be easily  tailored to their requirements. To meet evolving technology demands the SDR systems can be easily upgraded by the customer. The upgrade is based on software and firmware upgrade without the need to change the hardware.

The DLS provides full duplex digital communication. Advanced algorithms are used to enable operation in various operational scenarios. The transceiver uses digital techniques for demodulation and provides high data link performance with high fade margin. Having outstanding efficiency in the spectrum with selectivity in the data rate. Forward Error Correction (FEC) technique is a key to the system’s advanced performance.

The communication system supports encryption using an internal AES.256 encryption algorithm (CBC). The encryption block may be bypassed to enable unencrypted mode of operation.

The system supports key injection by the customer using a designated Key loader provided by the customer or developed by the vendor.

The system implements two complementary techniques: Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) or Frequency Hopping (FH) aimed to counter hostile jammers in addition to reducing the electromagnetic foot print of the transmission thus reducing its exposer to hostile parties achieving low probability of intercept (LPI) and achieving privacy thus increasing the system’s robustness.

The communication system includes a video encoder and decoder using H.264 video compression standard and supports an HD video encoder stream. The remote transceiver can be interfaced to analog composite video source or SDI by using our video encoder unit. The Central Ground Data Terminal streams the video to the video player installed on the control station computers.

EMDLS

The Enhanced Micro Data Link System (EMDLS) is an advanced single unit digital data link system specifically designed for micro and small size platforms which are sensitive to Size, Weight and Power (SWaP). As effective solution for most requirements known today, this advanced system uses open architecture and enables full duplex wideband, digital link, error correction techniques and high-rate communication in the Uplink (UPL) and Downlink (DNL) channels. The EMDLS can downlink real-time video images, LAN, serial data and information from most available sensors. It combines proven technologies and standards with advanced algorithms, to provide reliability and high performance, for the harshest conditions. This makes it ideal for applications such as usage in drones and loitering munitions.

IDLS MK-II

The Integrated Data Link System (IDLS MK-II) is an advanced single unit digital data link system specifically designed for long range operations for medium to large size platforms which are sensitive to Size, Weight and Power (SWaP). As effective solution for most requirements known today, this advanced system uses open architecture and enables full duplex wideband, digital link, error correction techniques and high-rate communication in the Uplink (UPL) and Downlink (DNL) channels. The IDLS MK-II can downlink real-time video images, LAN, serial data and information from most available sensors. It combines proven technologies and standards with advanced algorithms, to provide reliability and high performance, for the harshest conditions.

The IDLS-MK II is required to enable secured communication between equipment mounted on an Airborne/Maritime or any remote platform and a central station. The Ground Data Terminal (GDT) can be stand alone on a tripod, installed on a HQ vehicle or on a roof. The IDLS-MK II supports downlink which includes high bandwidth data from the remote platform to the GCS. The IDLS-MK II supports uplink to the remote platform and commands from the GCS. The IDLS-MK II maintains the link during all parts of the mission as long as LOS is kept.

AMLS

The Advanced Mini Link System (AMLS) is an advanced single unit digital data link system specifically designed for operations of up to 150 Km for medium to large size platforms which are sensitive to Size, Weight and Power (SWaP). As effective solution for most requirements known today, this advanced system uses open architecture and enables full duplex wideband, digital link, error correction techniques and high-rate communication in the Uplink (UPL) and Downlink (DNL) channels. The AMLS can downlink real-time video images, LAN, serial data and information from most available sensors. It combines proven technologies and standards with advanced algorithms, to provide reliability and high performance, for the harshest conditions.

The AMLS enables digital communication between equipment mounted on a remote platform (UAV/Helicopter/Maritime vessel etc.) and a ground station (GCS). The AMLS supports high bandwidth downlink from the remote platform to the GCS (Ground Control Station) and narrow band uplink to the remote platform.

The system maintains the link during all parts of the mission as long as Line Of Sight (LOS) is available.

Having outstanding efficiency in the spectrum with selectivity in the data rate, the system allows operational scenarios of multiple remote platforms operating in the same airspace vicinity.

UVR

The UHF/VHF Radio (UVR) is an advanced analog/digital data link system that has been specifically designed for manned and unmanned platforms to handle both audio and data transmission.

The UVR’s open architecture enables transmitting audio and Ethernet signals.

The UVR voice/data transceiver enables voice or data communication over VHF and UHF frequency band. The transceiver is software controlled implementing both analog and digital modulations. The transceiver supports wide frequency range from 30MHz to 512MHz utilizing various modulations. The lightweight transceiver design supports both ground and airborne installation.

The UVR system is a radio communications equipment designed to provide the wide range of functional options, in order to meet diversified operational requirements. This solution consists of a multi-band, multi-mode transceiver, providing a clear and secure voice and data communications facilities over an extended frequency range.
