1.0      INTRODUCTION

CP Technologies, LLC domestically designs, manufactures, and integrates standard and custom high-performance computing platforms, LCD (displays), storage arrays, and networking hardware for military, industrial, and commercial markets. Our product focus centers around ruggedizing systems for harsh environments and maintaining revision control over components and multi-year programs requiring hardware consistency. CP Technologies is an ITAR-registered and ISO 9001:2015-certified company that has been in operation in Southern California for over 20 years. With an in-house engineering department utilizing SolidWorks modeling software, CP Technologies offers standard ruggedized products and can design and build rapid prototype products that meet a client’s unique environmental requirements in areas such as shock and vibration, storage and operating temperatures, and air filtration to meet MIL-STD’s. As you are aware CP North America is part of the Aeronautics Group of Companies with ownership by Rafael. Currently CP has delivered two prototypes to Rafael in August of 2022 for testing which has not been completed.

2.0      APPROACH

CP Technologies has a large selection of standard products that can serve as the basis for your specific design. By utilizing off-the-shelf hardware, coupled with application-specific modifications, a client can obtain significant cost savings and quicker deployment time. Modifications can include something as simple as custom paint and/or logos or front panel modifications for product identification. Rear panel modifications are available to accommodate specific I/O cards, connectors, or a doghouse for an all-circular mil connector interface. Virtually any component in a standard product is eligible for modification. CP also provides Build to Print and Contract Manufacturing for our defense customers.

CP Technologies has an in-house engineering team consisting of mechanical engineers, systems engineers, electrical engineers and proto-type engineers ensuring we can support our customers’ requirements, while also being able to modify any of our existing designs. Our engineering department has the unique ability to develop rapid prototypes that can be delivered within 12-14 weeks

In the event a standard system cannot satisfy the requirements of an application, CP Technologies’ team of engineers can help define, design, and manufacture a custom solution tailored to an exact specification. The CP Technologies team has been responsible for more custom rugged computer systems and enclosures than any other manufacturer in the field.

CP Technologies servers are all covered by our standard 5-year warranty and our displays by our 3-year warranty. This warranty includes all parts and labor caused by component failure. Our warranty covers factory repair and the cost of the return of the product to you. Enhanced service policies are also available upon request. All LCDs, keyboards and other accessory products are protected by a 3-year warranty. This warranty policy covers the replacement or repair of the original product at CP Technologies option and is made solely to the purchaser. It also assumes that the product has not been modified or subjected to unusual physical or electrical stress outside of MIL-STD’s. This warranty is void for any product damaged due to improper packaging when returned for RMA purposes.

CP Technologies products are configuration managed to ensure the customer receives a completely revision-controlled system.  We provide long-lifecycle internal components that mitigate any End of Life (EOL) concerns, maintaining document control through our revision change tracking system, utilizing the manufacturer’s roadmaps for extended EOL forecasting.  Our Program Management Team works directly with the manufacturers on compatibility for form, fit, function, and replacement components, identifying acceptable substitutes as EOL nears. We only use federally approved vendors, mitigating counterfeit parts.  TACP-M will be assigned a dedicated Program Manager who handles all program coordination, deliverables, and product reliability.

CP Technologies has servers (1U-5U), expeditionary workstation solutions (transit case-based or portable computing systems), as well as rugged display systems (panel mount, rackmount, multi-display systems, and KVMs).

4.0 RUGGED SERVERS

We have modified, engineered, and fielded our rugged server line of high-performance computers from 1U through 5U.  Our rugged servers have the CP Technologies SysCool™ Thermal Management System integrated into the computer.  The SysCool™ Intelligent Adaptive Fan Controller is a proprietary component that is unique to CP Technologies and was developed by CP Technologies’ Research and Development Team. SysCool™ provides fan RPM control, fan failure detection, and chassis over-temperature detection. Running the fans at a lower but optimum speed to cool the chassis electronics provides for reduced energy costs, longer fan life, longer air filter life, higher MTBF’s and much quieter operation.
